Critical Underwater Infrastructure Protection”.

Naval Mine Warfare is as relevant as ever. The NATO Naval Mine Warfare Centre of Excellence (NATO NMW COE) aims to drive and support the development of all that is required to bring NATO’s Naval Mine Warfare capabilities into the next era.

The NATO NMW COE does not only build on experience, but is a forerunner in the developments in the NMW domain. For this, we deliver the best possible advice and support in NMW to NATO, NATO Nations and NATO Partners.

Our focus is on Education and Training, Doctrine and Standardisation, Lessons Learned and Analysis and last but not least Concept Development and Experimentation.

After the successful online 2022 NATO NNMWC, it is clear that there is a need to share information on developments and experiences in this area among both military and civilian communities. This year’s edition will be in a hybrid setup. In the morning, there will be an in person meeting for invitees at classified level. The afternoon will be filled with online public events, which will allow for contributions and participation from military as well as industry and research entities.

MARCOM Deputy Chief Of Staff Operations, Read Admiral Stefan Pauly (DEU-N)  will chair the conference.
